After a successful year, Melon needs another pair of hands, to help ensure we will continue to deliver top-notch web design and online marketing projects.
The successful candidate will relish the opportunity to work in a friendly, talented and dedicated team of planners, designers and developers.
No doubt you’ll love the web, be hungry to create outstanding new websites, be ready to learn new skills and share past experiences.
You would ideally have experience of creating websites within a commercial environment and understand what’s expected when creating quality code, sometimes within limited timescales.
As much as experience and expertise are important we are prepared to be flexible for the right person. It’s important you have the talent and desire to improve your skills and learn from others.
A good eye for creativity and user experience will help, as would a sense of humour and a passion to succeed.
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000
Melon is fortunate to enjoy a wide variety of web design projects, from responsive B2B sites, to startup web apps, e-commerce, comparison and e-learning, we see it all. Additionally we help clients create forward thinking GUI designs and plan and implement online marketing campaigns.
Much of our work is based on our proprietary CMS and with over 140 websites either live or in development, there is a regular requirement for support and maintenance.
You will likely need to interact with clients, either when conceiving new ideas in a meeting environment, answering technical questions or liaising directly to support the team.
We strive to keep standard 9am-5.30pm working hours. Salary is negotiable depending on experience - we’re more interested in what you’ve got to say and so are keeping an open mind.
We are looking for a talented, committed developer ready willing and able to give their best, have some fun and learn new things. Sound like you?
Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of your CV, some links to example websites and details of your responsibilities on those projects. Your salary expectations and any other details you feel important would also help.
No agencies please. This is not a remote location role, you will be expected to commute daily to our office in Olney near Milton Keynes.
