Luvfüd website, a new online takeaway ordering service launched

We have just designed and launched an exciting new online takeaway and delivery ordering website for LuvFüd. To ensure maximum usability for the website, we designed it to serve optimal viewing for both desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

The LuvFüd team came to us with an interesting and challenging brief to create a website that would stand up to competitors like Just Eat and Hungry House. Having a professional but consumer based website design was important to ensure customer trust and brand awareness.

The LuvFüd website USP for the restaurant is requiring no hardware installation or setup from the restaurants when signing up. Restaurants can utilise existing infrastructure, eg their phone system and telephony staff by integrating with an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system. This was important to allow non technical restaurant owners to be able to benefit from the growing trend of online ordering via websites and the internet.

Customers land on the site and search for restaurants using various tools to filter by area, cuisine, and ratings. They then choose the dishes they want and order them. Our system sends the order to the IVR, which in turn places a call to the restaurant with the order details, and accepts input based on the restaurants responses and sends it back to the website.

The website was also designed to allow customers to leave feedback and ratings on their favourite places to eat, accept table bookings as well as normal takeaway and delivery orders, keep track of your favourite and recent orders, allowing you to reorder with a single click. The website contains many points of user interaction which were key in ensuring a logical and easy to use interface and design.
