Just a little over 2 years ago, Melon worked with the Milton Keynes Academy to develop, design, build and launch their new website along with other materials in time for the opening of the Academy to students in September 2008.
Since its successful launch, the website has become a crucial communication tool for the students, staff and parents, and proved extremely popular both in terms of how the information is displayed to the students, parents and staff and equally how effective and easy to use our content management system, Engine has been, which has made editing content and images effortless and accessible to all the staff at the Academy.
Following this success we felt it was the perfect time to review the site, look at how staff and students were interacting and give the site a fresh look and feel. Features including a more tactile drop down menu which provides easy navigation around the site, image sliders and online polls to encourage the students to have there say and get interactive with the site.
Safari MK has made quite an impression on Milton Keynes, so much so it was time to open a second location!
