We require an experienced front end web developer to work as part of our experienced and passionate web development and design teams. It’s likely you will be exposed to all elements of the development process and a wide variety of interesting projects including responsive brochureware, web apps and UI. A good eye for creativity and user experience is essential and an integral part of the online solutions we create.
There will be room to develop your skills within a friendly productive and relaxed team environment.
This is a full-time position based on 37 hours per week - we strive to keep standard 9am-5.30pm working hours. You will be required to work from our offices to ensure projects and communication are managed to the highest levels. Some home working may be possible, depending on circumstances.

Much of our work is based on our proprietary CMS. You will be expected to develop great looking websites, potentially integrate with the CMS, and deploy to both development and live environments.

Melon is based in a fantastic barn conversion between Milton Keynes and Northampton and close to the picturesque market town of Olney. Although we are a small team of six in-house experienced professionals we attract interesting projects and deliver outstanding online solutions, many of which can’t be shown on our website.

Hours: 37 hours per week with no requirement for overtime
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience).
Holiday: 4 weeks per year plus bank holidays increasing to 5 weeks
