We provided UI design and API development for a suite of IoT safety products, creating a seamless interface for installers and residents to monitor home safety data in real-time.
FireAngel is a market leading provider of home safety products. As a result of the growing IoT sector, advancements in technology and user expectations, FireAngel developed a range of connected products.
FireAngel required a new UI and intuitive user journey approach for it’s installation wizard, designed to facilitate the successful connection, configuration and installation of a range of sensors and devices.
Melon was approached to develop a new user journey ensuring the new installation and enrollment processes would be quick and easy to use. In addition to the new UI/UX we were required to integrate the new front end with an updated API layer to support new features.
Melon developed a new visual language and an intuitive, clutter free solution, which easily translated to fulfil multi-language requirements. The new web application worked perfectly across all devices, ensuring installers could enroll a system with nothing more than a mobile phone.
